The liberal website paid witches to Hex Charlie Kirk a few days before the assassination
A progressive website based in the United States has paid for online witches to cursed the conservative activist Charlie Kirk a few days before being killed by ball during a session of questions and student answers at the University of Utah Valley in Orem, Utah.

Political figures on both sides, including former President Barack Obama, as well as other eminent Democratic leaders have condemned the shooter of the Co -founder of Turning Point USA, Kirk, but the article published by online magazine Jezebel, which has also condemned since the shooting, should arouse.

What to know
The article Jezebel, entitled “We paid witches Etsy to curse Charlie Kirk” was published on Monday.
It is intended for a humorous and ironic look at the scope and influence of the Internet on our lives, claiming that if Kirk, which has built an enormous online audience, is one of the “disadvantages” of the Internet, it also has its “gifts”.
“I can now buy a curse as easily as I can buy a phone charger. On the mystical site Etsy, you can find a spell for almost anything,” said the article.
“These days, witches are addressed more than personal resentments. And it is not uncommon for them to channel their energy towards Republicans thwarting … Are you interested in punishing Kirk for the years of regressive rhetoric that he sang on American youth and whoever in an ears shot? Here in Jézébel, we are on the point of knowing that there is a period for this.”
While the writer settles on the purchase of an appropriate curse to an online witch on the Etsy electronic commerce site, they clearly say that they do not want to harm Kirk.
“I mean clearly, I do not call the dark forces to hurt him. I just want him to wake up every morning with an inexplicable zit. I want his podcast microphone to be too small a dysfunction. I want one of the socks to always slide in his foot. Etsy Coven would be the greatest joy of my life.”
The online magazine also published a note as an editor at the top of the article after Kirk was shot dead, saying: “This story was published on September 8. Jezebel condemns the filming of Charlie Kirk in the strongest possible terms. We do not approve, do not encourage or excuse political violence of any kind.”
After having placed a spell “make everyone hate it”, the author ends with what, retrospectively, appears a disturbing note.

President Donald Trump wrote in a social article of truth: “The big, and even legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the hearts of young people in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by all, especially me, and now he is no longer with us. Melania and my sympathies go to his beautiful wife Erika, and to his family. Charlie, we love you!”
Obama said on X: “We do not yet know what motivated the person who killed Charlie Kirk, but this kind of contemptible violence has no place in our democracy. Michelle and I will pray for Charlie’s family this evening, especially his wife Erika and their two young children.”
What happens next
A hunt for the person who fired on Kirk continues after a “subject” was released on Wednesday evening.
