Sony Pictures Classics has announced that tickets are now on sale for Merry we ridethe live filmed version of the hit, four-time Tony Award-winning musical performance, directed by Maria Friedman. The film hits theaters around the world in early December and will be released in collaboration with Fathom. The exuberant music traces the turbulent relationship between composer Franklin Shepard and his two lifelong friends – writer Mary and lyricist and playwright Charley over three decades. Originally produced on Broadway in 1981. Spanning three decades, Merrily We Roll Along traces the turbulent relationship between composer Franklin Shepard and his two lifelong friends – the writer Mary and the lyricist and playwright Charley.
