With about two months before the arrival of the iPhone 17, the Eye1122 flight published photos of these small rings that go around the protective camera blankets at the back of your iPhone. Unfortunately, Eyes1122 has no photos of the rings for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, which are almost always different from the ordinary iPhone 17.
The most interesting aspect of this leak is the “transparent” ring presented on the two models. There was no Apple leak offering a kind of transparent / translucent housing, and although a kind of frosted glass case adapts to the update of the “Liquid Glass” interface in iOS 26, this does not seem to be an achievable material for an iPhone speaker. The versions of the previous iPhone have not used a transparent ring either, so it is not clear what it is for.
