Chappell Roan, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis should be honored in the next Warrior Awards of the songwriters of North America in October, announced Sona this week, alongside the entertainment lawyer Dina Lapolt, the CEO of Primary Wave, Larry Mectel and the non-profit organization, Girls Makes Beats.
The successful authors-songwriters Bonnie McKee and Shane Stevens co-hut the prizes, which will also present the performance of the legend of the writing of Desmond Child and Morgan Wade songs. The Warrior Awards will be held at Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles on October 12, and presale for the event will be sold for SONA members on August 8.
