Fred Warner to Join 49ers Dads’ Daughter Club After Gender Reveal – NBC Sports Bay Area & California

During dark times, 49ers star linebacker Fred Warner and his wife, Sydney, received some good news.
The couple announced last month that baby No. 2 was on the way. And on Friday morning, Sydney shared the gender of the little cutie who was cooking in the oven.
Warner will join 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy and running back Christian McCaffrey in the “Girl Dad” club, as a video Sydney posted to his Instagram shows a baby girl is on the way.
“Life knew we could use a little more sunshine this year,” Sydney wrote. “Let’s hope Beau gets to grips with this idea soon enough. Good days lie ahead.”
The couple had their first child together, son Beau, during the 2024 offseason. Beau, Fred and Sydney were all in the video, where Fred and Sydney bit into a cupcake whose filling, blue for the boy or pink for the girl, would determine the gender.
The filling, of course, was pink.
Fred’s dramatically arousing reaction momentarily frightened Beau, who burst into tears. As Sydney stated, Beau is sure to get used to the idea of being a big brother to his little sister soon enough.
Fred suffered a season-ending ankle injury in San Francisco’s Week 6 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which immediately sent shockwaves through the organization and fans.
He vowed on social media to come back stronger, and now he’ll have the strength of a father daughter to help him ignite that.
