Frank “ extremely ” excited for the beginnings in the Champions League while Romero doubles the decision to sign a new contract

Thomas Frank says he is “extremely impatient” to manage his first match in the Champions League with Tottenham on Tuesday evening.

The Spurs take the Spanish side Villarreal and will come up against many faces, including the duo of the Arsenal Thomas Partey and Nicolas Pepe, as well as the former couple of Spurs Juan Foyth and Manor Salomon, with the latter on loan with the Laliga.

And after the 3-0 demolition of West Ham on weekends, Frank and his players feel full of confidence on their return to the higher table of Europe.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, he said: “It’s a great thing. I can’t wait to be there. I know it will be special when we have this hymn of the Champions League.

“I think I have a fantastic team and we would like to go as much as possible.

Romero engaged in the spurs
