Fox to broadcast seven games of the 2026 World Baseball Classic

Fox and its associated networks will broadcast next year’s World Baseball Classic, securing rights to the tournament in English and Spanish.
Seven matches from the next WBC, including the title match, will be broadcast on Fox, the channel announced Tuesday. In 2023, Fox broadcast the United States’ opening game against Great Britain, as well as the championship game between the United States and Japan on FS1 and Fox Deportes.
Among the seven games Fox will broadcast are three Pool B matches that include Team USA, as well as two quarterfinal matches and the championship game on March 17 at LoanDepot Park in Miami.
All other games will be streamed on FS1, FS2, the Fox Sports app, Fox One or Tubi. Fox Deportes will also broadcast 28 matches – all in Spanish – including the quarter-finals, semi-finals and the championship.
Netflix previously announced that it would stream WBC games in Japan.
The sixth WBC will feature 20 teams competing in four first-round pools in Tokyo; San Juan, Puerto Rico; Houston; and Miami from March 4 and 5.
“The World Baseball Classic embodies everything we love about the game: passion, pride and world-class talent,” said Bill Wanger, executive vice president of Fox Sports. “After the widespread enthusiasm and unforgettable ending to the 2023 tournament, we are honored to once again bring this premier global event to fans across the country.”
