Fortnite Servers Down – How Long Is Maintenance Scheduled for Update 38.10

Fortnite is adding a lot of new content as part of The Simpsons season, but the good news ends there.
Fortnite’s latest season hasn’t been around for long, but that didn’t stop Epic Games from announcing a big new update for The Simpsons special season.
According to Epic Games, Fortnite update 38.10 will arrive on PS5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and Android on November 11. It adds new gameplay features and crossover skins from Springfield and beyond.
Unfortunately, the good news ends there, as the new content will only be available after server maintenance has been completed.

When does Fortnite server downtime start?
According to a recent post from Epic Games on X, Fortnite servers will be taken offline on the morning of November 11th.
Specifically, the game will go offline entirely at 9am GMT UK time, although matchmaking will be disabled around 30 minutes before. It’s 4:00 a.m. EDT or 1:00 a.m. PDT for fans living in the United States.
“Tomorrow’s forecast: high probability of donut drops…” reads a tweet from Epic Games.
“Version 38.10 downtime begins at 4 a.m. ET and matchmaking ends shortly before.”
When will Fortnite servers be back online for update 38.10?
According to the Fortnite server status page, server downtime is currently only expected to last an hour and a half.
This means the game should be back online at 10:30 GMT UK time. It’s 5:30 a.m. EDT or 2:30 a.m. PDT for fans living in the United States.
Of course, this is just a guide, and Epic Games might extend server downtime at the last minute, so check back regularly for more information.
