Forrest County Health Department holds a clinic without special immunization

The Department of Health of the Comté de Forrest will organize a special immunization clinic for school registration from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 6 and 13.
The clinic without an appointment is only for kindergarten students and 7th year students, who both need vaccinations before starting school in the fall. Parents must provide the school with a certificate of compliance with vaccination (form 121) before school entry.
Additional nursing staff will be available during the clinic to provide adolescent vaccinations so that parents can finish the process quickly and effectively. Parents should bring a copy of their child’s vaccination file. Form 121 can be obtained from your child’s vaccination supplier, but the Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) now offers a practical way to check your child’s vaccinations online.
Myir Mobile is an online portal that gives users access to their official state vaccination files; It allows users not only to see their own vaccination files, but also to also add family members to their profiles to see if their child is up to date or needs their next vaccination. If none is necessary, a 121 certified form can be downloaded or printed.
Myir Mobile requires identity verification via a telephone number or an e-mail address to keep the records safe. Only the vaccination files of Mississippi residents are accessible through this program, which is available atww.myirmobile.com.
You can check with your doctor or the county health service (CHD) if you have any questions about the vaccinations your child will need. Infamous vaccinations are available at any CHD per appointment. If your child is not up to date on vaccinations or if you have religious exemptions, please call (601) 583-0291 to make an appointment.
The Comté de Forrest health service is located at 5008 Old Hwy 42 in Hattiesburg.
