First, look at Wayne Brady and Taye Diggs in Moulin Rouge!

Moulin Rouge! The musical on Broadway published a first overview of its upcoming stars – Wayne Brady and Taye Diggs! Brady joins the cast as Harold Zidler, with Diggs playing the role of the Duke of Monroth on Tuesday July 22, 2025 at the Al Hirschfeld theater in Broadway. The two will play limited commitments with Diggs performing until Sunday, September 28 and Brady until Sunday, November 9.
The new video presents a first overview of the pair in costume, counting the days until their first performances later this month. Austin Durantin and Andy Karl will play their final performances in roles on July 20. Selea Pfeiffer and Jordan Fisher will also leave the musical on July 20, Ashley Loren and Christian Douglas occupying the roles of Satine and Christian respectively.
Wayne Brady is a five -time winner of an Emmy Award and a nomine in Grammy. He made his mark on stage and on screen as an actor, producer, singer, dancer, songwriter, author, podcast host and television personality. In Broadway, it appeared as Wiz (The Wiz), Billy Flynn (Chicago), Lola (Kinky boots) and in Freestyle Love Supreme. The other stage roles include Aaron Burr (Hamilton in Chicago), Collins (Rent in La), Fred (Kiss Me, Kate in La) and Charlie (we are driving joy in). He recently launched “What if?!” From Wayne Brady, he launched Wayne Brady Le Podcast and co-wrote a new original contributed to the end of the world as we know her: the new stories of the stand of Stephen King.
Taye Diggs is known for stage and screen roles, including the series officials in “Private Practice”, “Murder in the First” and “All American”. His film credits include the way Stella has recovered her groove, wood and the best man, to name just a few. On stage and in the film, Diggs created the role “Benjamin Coffin III” in the musical rent. He also appeared in Broadway Productions, including Chicago, Wicked and Hedwig and The Angry Inch. Diggs’ most recent film project is Terry McMillan presents: Forever, which is currently broadcast on the Lifetime website.
