Fire in the Upper East Side building in New York was triggered by the accumulation of gas smoke in the basement

Upper East Side, Manhattan (WABC) – Friday morning, the crews are at the scene of a large fire in a building of the Upper East Side in Manhattan.

The fire was reported at 305 E. 95th St. around 10 a.m.

The fire of the third alarm was triggered by the accumulation of gas smoke in the basement.

The superintendent was in the basement when the fire was launched and he was treated for a minor injury at this stage.
