Film “New Jedi Order” focused on Rey featuring Daisy Ridley would have in suspension

There have been contradictory reports on the status of duration without title Star Wars Film by director Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy has been going around since the end of last year. We had heard that “New Jedi Order” was a priority at some point, but it seems that Lucasfilm may have made the decision to put the project on the back burner.

According to Scooper Daniel Richtman, “The film Rey is again pending, because the films of Shawn Levy and James Mangold Star Wars advance first. The project is not canceled – just temporarily pending.”

This should probably not surprise so much, because a new writer has never been officially affected after Steven Knight separated from the project. This does not necessarily mean that we will not see Rey by Daisy Ridley in the galaxy far, very far from soon, however.

A recent THR report said Rey “Skywalker” is the key to the future of the franchise. Not only should it appear in the new trilogy which is in the works of the writer and producer Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Dark Phoenix), but several other projects (although which are not clear).

“It is the most precious cinematographic asset, in some respects perhaps the only one, Star Wars has at the moment”, “ A source said to the site.

The THR report also suggested that Kinberg’s trilogy could end up having an impact on the development of New Jedi.

“Rey, the Scavenger who has become-Jedi played by Daisy Ridley in the last three films, is the key to the next round of the franchise.

Ridley addressed his return as a powerful forcekeeper during an interview with First Last year, explaining why she finally decided to resume the role.

“They simply asked if I wanted to do it, on the basis of an idea, without the script being written again. But if I had not been convinced by the concept, the film would not have been made. I took a day to think about it and I told myself that I had a good time to make these films.”

“This new adventure seemed fun, so why say no? My thoughts on the subject are quite simple: if I did not think that the story was worth it to be told, I would not be returned.”

The specific details of the story for the film Rey have never been disclosed, but we know that it takes place 15 years after the events of Skywalker climbAnd find a new generation of Jedi.
