Fernandes and Sancho to stay in Manchester United

The summer overhaul of Manchester United should be less serious than the first thought with Bruno Fernandes and Jadon Sancho who should stay in Old Trafford.

Fernandes would have rejected a large money move to Saudi Arabia while Chelsea chose not to exercise his right to sign Winger Sancho on a permanent basis.

Sancho spent last season on loan to Stamford Bridge, but did not do enough to convince Enzo Maresca that he was worth continuing with the winners of the league of conference, even ready to pay a penalty clause of 5 million pounds sterling to send him back to United.

The 25 -year -old would be one of the highest wages in United and the club will always be impatient to unload it as quickly as possible.

Fernandes rejects al-Hilal

Keeping Fernandes is undoubtedly better news for United Fans, even if it can have a training effect.

Portugal midfielder is the Uni captain and the best undisputed player after a brilliant season who saw him contribute eight goals and eight assists in 36 championship games.

Fernandes had been targeted by the Saudi side Al-Hilal and his agent Miguel Pinho was spotted in Riyadh last week, holding talks with the club for an agreement that would have been up to 200 million pounds sterling over three years.

Al-Hilal was also supposed to prepare an offer of 100 million pounds sterling in United if they had obtained the green light from the Fernandes camp.

But the Expert Transfer Fabrizio Romano published this morning on social networks that Fernandes had rejected the Saudi offer because he always wanted to play at “higher level” in Europe.

United’s failure to win the Europa League means that they will not play in the European competition next season, which means that Fernandes left the ajar for a move.

Could the transfer plans be affected?

However, if he and Sancho start the season at Old Trafford, this means that two high wages will remain, potentially denying the Ruben Amorim Wiggle boss of the place to carry out the multiple movements necessary to rebuild a team that drink in a 15th finish last season.

They have already concluded an agreement to sign the Wolves Matheus Cunha striker while Bryan Mbeumo de Brentford is considered to discuss a move to United.

The question of whether this last agreement will occur now is questionable given the precarious financial situation of United.

No European football has left a black hole of 100 million pounds sterling which means that the club can have problems with the rules of profit and sustainability.

The reports said that each united player is on sale at the right price while Christian Eriksen, Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof will leave when their contracts expire at the end of June.
