The film was written by Greeningen, Charlotte Vandermeersch and Anne Paulicevich. Vandermeersch also plays alongside Luca Marinelli (The eight mountains). The synopsis reads as follows: Leave love is the story of the emotional journey of a couple because they question everything they held for granted when a long -standing affair is admitted. But what looks like a relationship in crisis is revealed as a story of healing and reconnection. A quest for honesty, real intimacy and a deep understanding, redefining what it means to be lovers.
