A recall is underway for a yogurt sold in Texas due to an undeclared allergen, the Food and Drug Administration announced Friday. A flavor of HEB dairy-free coconut yogurt has been pulled from shelves after a customer reported the presence of almonds in the product, which was not listed on the label. The situation poses a risk of serious and even life-threatening allergic reactions in people who are allergic or sensitive to almonds. To date, no adverse effects have been reported.
The recalled product, manufactured by PlantBased Innovations, can be identified as follows:
- Product Description: Higher Harvest by HEB Dairy-Free Coconut Yogurt, Strawberry Flavor
- Size: 5.3 ounces
- Packaging: Plastic yogurt pots with aluminum lids
- Expiry date: January 2, 2026
The item was sold at HEB stores in Texas starting November 24, 2025.

If you are an HEB buyer, check your refrigerator for the recalled product. All customers are asked to discard or return them, whether or not they are safe to consume almonds.
