Favorite promotion, relegation battlers, players to watch and at the planned table

The championship begins on Friday evening, starting the annual promotion of promotion and the wealth that accompanies being in the Premier League.

This year will be titled by the three relegated teams who hope to make an immediate return to the elite while two clubs will interest the American public hoping to make an impression.

Add Snoop Dogg, the Spud Bros and an all-powerful disorder in one of the biggest clubs in the division and he has all the creations of a typically crazy championship campaign!

Promotion favorites

For all speeches on Wrexham and Birmingham, the first three will probably understand Ipswich, Southampton and Leicester. All three fell last season and even if the Foxes could still face a deduction of points for breaking the PSR regulations, the strength of their team should see them mounting an inclination of the title.

Ipswich and Southampton make the most convincing cases, however.

The first, under Kieran McKenna, has stability and a team stacked with players who have shone at this level before. People like Omari Hutchinson, Jaden Philogene, Sammie Szmodics and Jack Clarke have enough quality to give championship defense nightmares.

Add the experience of Ashley Young and it is difficult to look beyond the boys in the tractor.

Southampton should be their closet challengers. Although they have lost some players after relegation, they seem strong and will increase more if the striker Ross Stewart can remain in good shape. The question mark comes in the canoes with Will always in charge.

Contenders in playoffs

Sheffield United will be strong again, but will have to overcome the sorrow of their final defeat against Sunderland in May. Kieffer Moore, Vinicius Souza and Anel Ahmedhodzic have all evolved, but Ruben Selles seems an intelligent meeting to replace Chris Wilder.

Coventry prospered under Frank Lampard last season and should be good enough to guarantee a finish among the first six while Norwich will be stimulated by having Liam Manning as a coach after his impressive work in Bristol City.

West Brom could well go under Ryan Mason, just like Middlesbrough if Rob Edwards’ play style is embraced on Teesside.

So what about Birmingham and Wrexham? Rarely, two clubs have been promoted on the second level with such a fanfare. The two have made smart movements, especially the blues who took people like Demai Gray, Tommy Doyle and the former Celtic striker Kyogo Furuhashi.

Wrexham has taken a different route and disappeared for the players who have already played at this level in Moore, Lewis O’Brien and Josh Windass.

The suspicion remains the basic game style adopted by Phil Parkinson can retain them and not be surprised if there is a change by the owners of Hollywood Rob Mcelhenney and Ryan Reynolds before Christmas.

Birmingham looks for bet, but we are still not convinced that they are good enough for a place in the playoffs.

So what about snoop and spud bros?

In case you have missed him, the American rapper Snoop Dogg became co -owner of Swansea alongside the AC Milan midfielder Luka Modric. The 53 -year -old man, who sold more than 35 million albums worldwide, has also helped launch the club’s new shirt.

If you have not heard of it, the Spud Bros have made a very successful fist to combine the potatoes and the social media of the jacket. Tiktok stars will be the sponsors of the shirt for the team from the North End native city.

Fight gout

Sheffield Wednesday is the obvious choice. As it stands, they have an owner who wants to go out, a team short of figures, quality and morale having seen their wages delayed in May, June and July. The very well rated boss, Danny Rohl, left Henrik Pedersen to take disorder.

Oxford would have fallen last season without the arrival of Gary Rowett in December. A silent transfer window does not increase well and it is difficult to see how they will compete this year.

For Oxford, see also Hull. Sergej Jakirovic hopes to guide them towards security, but it could be a long season for tigers.

Watford is always difficult to plan due to the rotating door policy with Vicanage Road. Expect that they do just about it alongside Charlton and Derby.

Three players to watch

Divréan (Stoch)

On-Loan de Manchester City, Mubama made two senior appearances under Pep Guardiola last season, marking once in the 8-0 victory of the FA Cup against Salford.

Previously at West Ham, Mubama hit the net 74 times in 105 football appearances under 18 and under the age of 21. He has the physique to play regularly in the championship and the perfect mentor in the former Manchester United striker, Mark Robins.

Patrick Agiemann (derby)

United States International Agyemang is a new face at Pride Park after joining the Charlotte FC for costs reaching 7.3 million pounds sterling. Scored 17 goals in 59 regular season games in MLS and will seek to do its brand in English football.

Louie Barry (Sheffield United)

Barry was for the top when he joined Barcelona de West Brom at the age of 16 in 2019. This did not quite work for him in Catalonia and he returned to Aston Villa before being sent to many loan moves.

He prospered in Stockport last season but did not find the fact so easy to Hull. A permanent move to Humberside collapsed, leaving Sheffield United Clear to take him to Bramall Lane. It seems a good decision for both parties.
