Resident Evil Requiem Fans Want to Kiss Leon Kennedy and Steal His DILF Jacket: ‘I Have to Shake Him Between My Teeth Like a Mad Dog’

What? You think I am losing your mind over the grizzled Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil Requiem? Do you think it’s Me salivating like a puppy in front of a raw steak, wondering if Léon, in his fifties, is too old to resist the heat of the shooting star that I want to throw lovingly at his head? No, it’s not just me. There are actually many, many people.
“I have to clench it in my teeth like a rabid dog,” says a reasonable Reddit comment reacting to the character artwork after the 2025 Game Awards, where developer Capcom confirmed the not-so-secret fact that federal agent Leon will return in Resident Evil Requiem, released on February 27, 2026. In its latest trailer for the game, which you can watch below, Capcom also inadvertently endorses the idea that, canonically, Leon will die before to stop being sexy.
Look on it
Look at him. He rushes into the trailer with a suave black jacket and enough beard to make him look both wise-cracking and approachable as a school crush. Then the man has shiny hair worthy of a 2010s romantic comedy and a jawline almost as sharp as his chainsaw. God help us.
“We had dad Chris, now we have dad Leon,” observes a comment on Reddit with nearly 2,000 upvotes.
“What the hell is this coat? I want it,” said another fan.
“I bet Leon is infected, that’s why he wears gloves,” someone else theorizes about Leon’s all-black tactical outfit. Um, yeah, he’s definitely infected, so I’m going to need him to take these gloves off… for the sake of public health… uh, yeah…
Capcom says Resident Evil Requiem’s ”stalker” enemy will only be a “small part of the game,” improving the worst aspect of my favorite gaming franchise..
