The legislation aims to solve the problems of sports and wardrobes of women, while clarifying the definition of sex under title IX of educational amendments of 1972, according to a press release obtained by the Daily Call.
The law prohibits discrimination based on sex in any program or education activity funded by the federal government, including public schools and colleges. (Related: EP Sheri Biggs and the representative Mary Miller: more propaganda on public penny: House GOP offers financed biases)
Miller told the appellant on Monday that his bill aims to restore the initial objective of title IX and to prevent democrats from weakening women’s rights by allowing organic men to participate in the sports of girls and to access their private spaces.
“The left erases decades of progress for women by forcing girls to compete and share private spaces with men. We cannot let this continue,” she said in a statement. “On the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the 19th amendment certification, my bill will guarantee the initial goal of title IX to protect sports, the privacy of biological girls.”
The bill will be reintroduced with a section of updated definitions that explicitly defines men, women and sex as biologically determined, according to legislation.
The term “female” refers to someone who has naturally, or would have a reproductive system that “produces at a given time, transports and uses eggs for fertilization”, indicates the bill. The term “male” refers to an individual who has naturally, or would have a reproductive system which “produces at a given moment, transport and use the sperm for fertilization”.
The term “sex”, when applied to an individual, refers to “men or women, as biologically determined”.
Miller’s bill is co -sponsored by several republican representatives: the representative of the South Carolina Nancy Mace, the representative of Tennessee Diana Harshbarger, the representative of Virginie Ben Cline, the representative of Tennessee Tim Buchett, the representative of Colorado Lauren Boebert, the representative of Wisconsin Glenn Glenn Glenn Glenn Glenn Glenn Southern Caroline Sheri Biggs.
The bill would codify the executive decree of President Donald Trump (EO) entitled “the defense of women against the extremism of gender ideology and the restoration of biological truth to the federal government”. Trump’s directive defines male and female categories as “immutable biological” and distinguishes “gender” from “gender identity”.
The ordinance aimed to remove the gender ideology of the federal government. (Related: Trump making a big “sex” again on the first day of the presidency)
Trump declared in the order that his administration will protect the rights of women and maintain freedom of conscience “using a clear and precise language and policies that recognize that women are biologically female, and men are biologically male”.
Miller’s bill also defines “separated sex” and clearly indicates that title IX allows schools to maintain the changing rooms, sports or academic programs and the bathrooms separated by sex.
“The term” sexual separation “means limited or separated by sex,” says legislation.
The bill also prevents the Ministry of Education from forcing schools to remove installations or programs separated by sex in order to obtain federal funding.
Miller reintroduced the bill with the support of the organizations concerned by women for women for America, Moms for America, American Principles Project, Moms for Liberty, Parents Defending Education, Family Research Council and Family Policy Alliance. Miller previously presented the legislation “Keep Our Girls Safe Act” in March which would fully codify the order of Trump, “keep men out of female sports”.
The bill “guarantees that public schools comply with federal mandates to protect spaces reserved for women or to lose federal funding,” said a press release from March.
The bill orders the federal government to withdraw financing from any public school in the United States which denies access to women and girls to spaces reserved for women, according to a press release.
