A former Coast Guard officer was arrested and faces federal accusations for having pretended to pronounce numerous assassination threats against President Donald Trump, according to newly non -sealed court documents.

Virginia’s resident Peter Stinson, who served in the Coast Guard as a lieutenant from 1988 to 2021 and received prizes for his skills as a sniper, is appointed to the criminal complaint by the Federal Bureau of Investigation to have pretended a multitude of violent online threats against Trump, reported ABC News.

The prosecutors said that Stinson, who was also an instructor of FEMA in the same time – and a member of an antifa “self -identified” – used his accounts on X and Bluesky to detail the threats against Trump from 2020 to the current year, in particular by speaking allegedly in the way he “would draw the trigger” to get rid of Trump.

The report provided some other examples of the complaint.

The court documents would also have made several references to “8647”, which, according to the FBI, was probably a reference to the post “8647” of the former director of the FBI James Comey who landed Comey in hot water.

“Comey’s post was interpreted in the media as a violent threat to President Trump and has aroused an investigation by the Ministry of Homeland Security and the United States secret services. Stinson has since published 13 additional articles on Bluesky, including the text,` `8647 ”,” said the document.

Stinson has not yet pleaded and is expected on Wednesday in court to face the federal charges to threaten to kill the president.
