Lewis Hamilton insists on the fact that he “still loves the race” despite the recent Ferrari struggles and the “useless” remarks

Lewis Hamilton insisted that he was still in love with Formula 1, despite the particularly painful weekend of the world champion seven times in Hungary.
Hamilton described a “great struggle” after Friday’s training sessions in Hungarring and radically abandoned the second qualification phase, while his Ferrari teammate, Charles Leclerc, then demanded pole position.
Subsequently, Hamilton’s comments made the headlines around the world when he described himself as “absolutely useless” and suggested that Ferrari “probably needs to change the driver” as a result.
The day of the race, the Briton started and finished 12th, leading to another brief series of interviews with broadcasters, during which he said that he was “eager to leave” during the summer holidays.
In his conversation after the race with Sky Sports F1Hamilton was invited to develop this driver change comment and if he could help viewers understand the remarks.
“Not particularly,” came his answer. “When you have a feeling, you have a feeling. There is a lot of things in the background that is not great.”
When he was pushed into a follow -up question if he had lost his love for sport, Hamilton said: “No, I still like the race.”

In the battle of drivers, Hamilton is sixth in the general classification over 109 points, with Leclerc occupying Finth on a transport of 151.
