Everton is considering an offer for the lethal striker of 42 million pounds sterling

The manager of Everton, David Moyes, faces a few challenges this summer, notably to lose a certain number of players, experienced with this, with Michael Keane and Dominic Calvert-Lewin outside the end of this month.
The two who seem likely to leave, Moyes will have to replace to strengthen his defensive and attack options.
Jack Grealish could go to the Toffees, although its salary requests and its requested price can dissuade the Merseyside Club.
Another player that Moyes Aime is the star of Villarreal Thierno Barry, and he could strengthen the first line of Everton.
The club also plans to move for another striker, however, and it could be a signature even better than Barry.
Everton plans to move for the upgrade of Barry
Many will depend on the money that Moyes has at his disposal this summer. Profits and sustainability regulations to be aware, the manager will have to spend judiciously.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Everton now plans to take a step for the Stuttgart striker Nick Woltemade in order to strengthen their attack.
The Bundesliga striker would be available for transfer fees of 42 million pounds sterling. It remains to be seen if this is in the budget of Moyes.
However, it is exactly what the club needs. Everton finished the 2024/25 Premier League season with only 42 goals scored, the lowest of any team outside the relegation zone.
As such, a decision for Woltemade could be vital if Moyes aims to make his team mark more.
How Nick Woltemade compared to Thierno Barry
Barry scored 16 goals for Villarreal last season, after moving from FC Basel in summer. He is also able to play on the right wing, a position that Moyes is desperate to strengthen in summer.
While French would be an excellent signature, Woltemade’s pursuit is perhaps the best idea.
In their respective national leagues last season, the German not only recorded a better blow on the target percentage (50% vs 36%) than Barry, but he also recorded more shooting on the target for 90 (1.28 vs 1.09) and recorded shooting creation actions (4.38 against 1.78) than the versatile French.
Woltemade also recorded a lens conversion rate of 25% in the Bundesliga last, while Barry was only 15% at La Liga.
The German has also created more big chance (eight against seven) and succeeded with more dribbles (1.1 vs 0.5) at the national level.
These statistics indicate that Woltemade is the most attractive signature for Moyes this summer.
