The best Marvel movie of 2025 is back on the streaming charts

2025 has been a particularly difficult year for Marvel. The year before the MCU reached its next major milestone with the arrival of Avengers: Apocalypsethe last three entries in the biggest franchise have proven unsuccessful at the box office. That of Anthony Mackie Captain America: Brave New World faced backlash from critics and audiences alike as it headed toward a disastrous box office and the huge summer arrival of Fantastic Four: first steps collapsed on a disappointing global record, this underperformance being further aggravated by its rival Superman exceeding both.

However, one of the most egregious box office misrepresentations of the year comes from the MCU’s worst-performing film in 2025 financially: Love at first sight*. Grossing less than $400 million worldwide, the film is one of the lowest-grossing films in franchise history, despite being one of the best in terms of quality in recent years. Fortunately, Love at first sight* finds redemption on the small screen and officially returns to the streaming charts. At the time of writing, the Jake Schreier-the film made is the ninth most streamed film on Disney+ in the United States. Against strong competition, Love at first sight*continues to prove popular, although not as popular as the current chart topper, The Nightmare Before Christmas. THE Love at first sight*the synopsis reads:

“In Thunderbolts*, Marvel Studios brings together an unconventional team of antiheroes: Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster and John Walker. After finding themselves trapped in a death trap set by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, these disillusioned rejects must embark on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their past. Will this dysfunctional group tear itself apart? separate, or find redemption and come together for something much more before it’s too late? »

The new Avengers will return in “Doomsday”

Elena (Florence Pugh), Red Guardian (David Harbor), Ghost (Hannah John Kamen), John Walker (Wyatt Russell), Bucky(Sébastien Stan), and Bob (Lewis Pullman) will each return in doomsday next December, alongside one of the most notable castings of this decade. This includes Robert Downey Jr.. in his new role as Doctor Doom, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Vanessa Kirby, Pierre Pascaland even Sir Ian McKellen like Magneto, as well as many others.
