ESPN’s Steelers, Bills and Broncos trade rumors are great news for Josh Allen, Aaron Rodgers and Bo Nix

The Pittsburgh Steelers, Denver Broncos and Buffalo Bills are all reportedly looking for wide receiver help ahead of the Nov. 4 trade deadline.
This rumor comes from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, who noted that all three teams “seem to be most aggressively pursuing a wide receiver.”
“The three teams that appear to be most aggressively pursuing a wide receiver before the deadline are the Pittsburgh Steelers, Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos, according to sources,” Schefter reported Saturday afternoon.
Schefter adds that the New Orleans Saints are expected to make Rashid Shaheed and Brandin Cooks available at the trade deadline, with the team seeking a third-round pick for the former. Cooks can likely be drafted for a late Day 3 pick, although that’s an educated guess and not something Schefter reports.
As for Chris Olave, who is one of the Saints’ most attractive assets, he and the Saints are trying to work out a contract extension, so it doesn’t appear Olave is available.
It’s easy to see why the Steelers, Bills and Broncos are looking for wide receiver, which is great news for Aaron Rodgers, Josh Allen and Bo Nix, who all need more help.
The Steelers haven’t had an adequate No. 2 receiver since last season, when the team had George Pickens and not much else. Now it’s DK Metcalf running a suspect front office.
In Buffalo, Keon Coleman didn’t make the move the Bills envisioned, Josh Palmer was a major disappointment and is injured and even Khalil Shakir’s production is down from what it was in 2024.
The Broncos’ wide receiver room is led by Courtland Sutton, but he is flanked by Troy Franklin and Marvin Mims Jr., both of whom are unproven. The Athletic’s Dianna Russini also connected Denver with interest in a tight end.
“Broncos are monitoring the tight end market,” Russini reported Saturday.
All three teams would likely like to add Olave, who is a two-time 1,000-yard wide receiver on a rookie contract that runs through 2026.
However, if Olave is unavailable, Shaheed would be a solid consolation prize, but the Saints will have to lower their demands first.
Meanwhile, Cooks should probably be avoided outside of a dire situation, as he’s been on the decline for several years now and is unlikely to move much.
