National reminder for the product sold at Target, Amazon: having “ immediately ”

Detachable covers for more than 800,000 house fragrance diffusers sold in the main national points of sale have been recalled due to fear that the product has a risk of serious suffocation for children.

Pura Scents published a reminder at the national level of the game for its Pura 4 Smart Home perfume after reports have surfaced that magnets inside the covers can stand out.

The recall, as of July 24, affects approximately 851,400 units sold in the United States and 1,100 additional units in Canada. The products were available through large retailers, including Target, Amazon, Scheels and others, from August 2023 to May 2025 and sold $ 50, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

Why it matters

The recall highlighted critical child safety problems with products commonly found in American houses.

“When high -power magnets are swallowed, ingested magnets can attract each other or other metal objects, and accommodate in the digestive system.

This recall follows a series of other reminders of recent products from the main American retailers, including Target, involving food, nursery furniture and additional household products, highlighting the continuous risks for American consumers and the importance of rapid conformity of the recall.

What to know

The recall concerns the Smart 4 Pura 4 house perfume diffusers with detachable covers containing five internal magnets – three young and two larger ones.

The serial numbers for affected units range from JX230000001 to JX230801425 and JX240000001 to JX24004959, as printed on the rear label above the metal teeth. The 4 -inch 4 -inch diffusers were imported by Pura Scents Inc. and manufactured in China.

Pura Scents received three reports of magnets standing out from the coverage. On the recall date, no injury has been reported.

Customers who bought these devices via Pura.com, Amazon.com, Target.com, Scheels.com or in store are invited to immediately remove and eliminate detachable coverage, keep the device for children and pets, and contact Pura for free replacement coverage. The company said that it directly contacts all known buyers.
