New York mass shooting leaves several wounded inside Taste of the City Lounge Brooklyn

Three people were killed and eight others injured when several armed men opened fire in a Brooklyn restaurant towards the closure time on Sunday morning.
The police responded to calls from a shooting inside Taste of the City Lounge at 903 Franklin Avenue in the Crown Heights district just before 3:30 am, said NYPD commissioner Jessica Tisch, during a press briefing.
The deadly victims were identified as three men, who were 27, 35, and an unknown age.
The eight injured victims were transported to local hospitals. However, their conditions were not disclosed.
No arrest was made during the shooting and the suspects have not yet been identified.
At least 36 shell coils have been recovered.
“We have the lowest number of shooting incidents and the firing victims seven months after the start of the year we saw in New York City,” said Tisch. “Something like that is, of course, thank God, an anomaly and it is a terrible thing that happened this morning.”
The NYPD opened an investigation into the early morning shooting.
NYPD staff stood inside the company near a blood and broken glass swimming pool, depending on the video published on X.
Taste of the City Lounge serves American and Caribbean plates with a complete bar, a hookah and DJs.
The company, which opened its doors in 2022, is located less than half a thousand from the Historic Brooklyn Museum and closed at 3 am on Sunday.
