Erin Moriarty received a diagnosis of Graves disease, the actress announced Instagram on Friday. Moriarty shared an SMS in which she detailed her symptoms and a series of selfies as well as a legend in which she encouraged her subscribers to “go be checked” if they have similar symptoms.

Graves disease is an autoimmune disorder that has an impact on the thyroid.
