‘Vanderpump Rules’ Reveals All-New Cast for Season 12 Reboot

There was a change of team Vanderpump Rules.
Nearly a year after Bravo announced that its No. 1 reality series would be rebooting, the network has finally revealed the all-new cast for season 12.
After Season 11 – the season after the “Scandoval” season that changed everything Vanderpump Rules now has a new team at SUR, the Los Angeles restaurant owned by Lisa Vanderpump around which the reality series revolves. Bravo announced the casting on Monday and based on the trailer (below), it looks like there are plenty of servers ready to step in to try and replace the outgoing cast, which included Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, Brock Davies, Tom Schwartz, Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval, James Kennedy and Katie Maloney.
The new season premieres December 2 at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
When Bravo announced that its hit reality series would return for season 12, that news came with the bombshell that season 12 would feature an all-new cast. The series, born as a spin-off of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hillswas on hiatus following the Comrades Affair scandal that catapulted the original cast into the mainstream, producing eye-popping ratings followed by mixed ratings results.
Season 12, Bravo said, would feature Vanderpump, Vanderpump Rules executive producer and head of SUR, with a new group of “close-knit SUR-verses who are as complicated with each other as their iconic predecessors,” according to the announcement at the time. “Under the watchful eye of Lisa Vanderpump, SUR, the West Hollywood mainstay – and now TomTom – welcomes the next batch of servers, hosts and bartenders filled with drama, situations and enemies.”
To kick off the new season on November 25 at 9 p.m., Bravo will air a “Raise Your Glass to 11 Seasons” look back at over a decade of Vanderpump Rules highlights, which will include never-before-seen footage and a first look at Season 12.
Here’s an updated logline: “This season, Vanderpump Rules, the dynamic, deep-rooted group of friends, enemies and lovers who have worked for Lisa Vanderpump at SUR for years make things happen – from pomp-tinis to chaos. Despite new uniforms and a few new faces, the drama remains as messy and complicated as their iconic predecessors.
And here is the new casting below:
Venus Binkley considers himself the glue that holds the SUR staff together and the confidant everyone turns to for advice…and the latest gossip. Venus feels out of place in the West Hollywood dating scene, but her friends encourage her to step out of her comfort zone. When he finds himself thrust into the drama between Marcus, Kim and Natalie, diplomacy goes out the window and he is forced to choose sides.
Budding actor Jason Cohen is a cheerful waiter who charmed everyone at SUR. Her infectious personality and beauty have won over some women and disarmed many men. He works at SUR alongside his cousin Chris and the pair have been linked since childhood. Between acting classes and shifts at SUR, Jason tries to date a new co-worker, but his attempts backfire.
Shayne Davis finds himself at the center of the drama at SUR, even though he’s the only one of their friends who doesn’t work there. He’s focused on his sobriety, but that doesn’t stop him from going out on the town at night. Between acting, improv, and screenwriting, Shayne’s social calendar is close to full capacity, but he still makes time to date. With one foot in and one foot out of SUR’s pool of ladies, Shayne might just make a splash he’s not ready to clean up.
Jason’s cousin Chris Hahn is a bartender at SUR and has lived in Los Angeles for three years. He moved to the city with dreams of becoming an actor, but turned his attention to music and views SUR as a stepping stone to bigger opportunities. Single and mixed, Chris is looking for a partner and a long-term commitment. When Chris and Audrey start dating, discussions about a future trip lead to complications.
Kim Suarez works at SUR while juggling her aspirations in the entertainment industry and a tumultuous relationship with her boyfriend, Marcus. When other band members get involved, Kim wonders if her on-and-off romance will affect her performance on SUR.
Angelique Jensen is the newest addition to the SUR team, but he’s immediately making waves within the group. She’s set her sights on modeling, acting and… friends Jason and Shayne, but a game of broken telephone threatens their potential relationship.
Marcus Johnson has worked at SUR for years, but after losing his parents, he struggles to focus at work and prioritize his relationship with his girlfriend, Kim. Close to Venus and Shayne, he relies on his friends to help him move forward. Marcus is all about new beginnings and shifting his energy toward his DJ career and social life, but will have to figure out whether his new perspective and professional ambitions will strengthen his relationship or put a strain on it.
Audrey Lingle is all bubbly charm and girl-next-door charisma, which makes her loved by (almost) everyone on the staff. She is recently single, looking for new adventures and her dream of being on the big screen, but when someone from SUR catches her eye, a certain bad boy might just get the better of her.
Natalie Maguire has been SUR’s lead bartender for two years and is ready to become bar manager, but Lisa may not be on the same page after her recent outburst. The closest of Venus’ group, the two started at SUR on the same day and have been inseparable ever since. Outside of SUR, Natalie vigorously pursues her career in pop music but still makes time for men, making her love life a major source of friction within the group.
Démy Sélem was the Manager at SUR for seven years and as the longest-serving employee in the group, she knows all the workings of SUR’s employees. Demy is very busy in her role at the restaurant, but being the boss takes a toll on her friendships, especially with Natalie. Can she sip tea with the crew and also take the lead?
Vanderpump Rules is produced by 32 Flavors and Evolution Media, an MGM company. Alex Baskin, Michael Beck, Natalie Neurauter, Brian McCarthy, Joe Kingsley, Jenn Levy, Anne Swann, Barry Poznick, Vanderpump and her husband Ken Todd are executive producers.
