“When when is the last time that Amy Jones opened for England in an Odi ..?”
The answer is in July 2019 in Canterbury – the day Ellyse Perry became crazy. By the way, Jones has a duck.
She has sailed positively so far today, half a century on sight.
14th on: England 70-0 (Beaumont 22, Jones 41) Claxton then serves another late swinger who beat Jones, tilted and moved away late! Maybe this ball begins to speak under the clouds and with the lacquer? No Mother for Amy Jones, she cracks the next ball in front of the launcher all along the ground for four points.
13th on: England 59-0 (Beaumont 22, Jones 32) Beaten! Better from Alleyne as she attracts Jones to a Booooom player and moves the ball late.
Some orien gray clouds linger on the back of the ground …
12th on: England 57-0 (Beaumont 21, Jones 31) The double change for the Antilles while Jahzara Claxton is summoned in the attack. It begins with a decent yorker that Jones does well to keep away. Openers exchange simple fasts, then Jones releases his hands once again, traveling a short and wide bullet through the cover and categorically in holes. Do not Bowl there.

9th on: England 39-0 (Beaumont 16, Jones 19) Punch! Amy Jones is looking in a fine bettle here, she plants her front foot in Zaida James and goes above for four.
8th on: England 35-0 (Beaumont 16, Jones 15) Was Amy Jones tickled on a ball side of Fraser? There seems to be a peak when the ball passes the face but the referee gave a large. The goalkeeper escaped anyway, but I think that is a missed chance for visitors.
7th on: England 29-0 (Beaumont 13, Jones 14) Amy Jones is fixed between Point and Gully for four with an immaculate timing. Strikers are running through the shot, a departure without disorder for England.
6th on: England 22-0 (Beaumont 12, Jones 8) Beaumont rocks back and pulls fraser for four at Midwicket. She picked up this early, but the ball seemed to launch the surface. Beaumont allows her partner to know the information she gleaned. There is something there for queries if they can find it. Beaumont flickering for two on the ground to make six out of the end.

4th on: England 12-0 (Beaumont 6, Jones 4) Jones is defeated by a beauty of Fraser which leaves the new opener to grasp and grope outside the stump. There is a decent transport on the counter but no huge movements on the ground or in the air at the moment.
3rd on: England 10-0 (Beaumont 5, Jones 4) Jones is very strong on the rear foot and it starts with a wide punch of halfway four.
Kate Cross is the vice-captain designated today as she returns to the side and with Charlie Dean and Sophia Dunkley will serve as a “leadership group” of Sciver-Brunt for this ODI series.
2nd on: England 6-0 (Beaumont 5, Jones 0) Beaumont receives a wide draw by Cherry-Ann Fraser and the paste the size of a pint the clicks for four to obtain the first limit of England. Many discussions in the field of the Antilles that are buzzing, as they could – it looks cold and windy in the Derbyshire.
1st on: England 1-0 (Beaumont 1, Jones 0) A calm start with just a simple Tammy Beaumont at the opening of the local team account. Amy Jones has not opened the striker for six years (since the 2019 Ashes) but I for one like this movement of England, Jones has all the talent and I think that I will savor the new role and the opportunity to put the tempo at the top of the Order.
The players emerge under a gray sky. Zaida James will open the bowling alley against the opening pair of New England of Tammy Beaumont and Amy Jones. Let’s play!
Confirmed teams:
England: Tammy Beaumont, Amy Jones (WK), Emma Lamb, Nat Sciver-Brunt (C), Sophia Dunkley, Alice Capsey, Em Arlott, Charlie Dean, Kate Cross, Linsey Smith, Lauren Bell

Captain of the Antilles Hayley Matthews confirms that she would have chosen to make a bowl anyway and suggest that there could be help from the counter from the start.
I think the counter looks good, but it could become a little slower, “
said Sciver-Brunt after choosing to beat.
There are ODI debut for Em Arlott and Linsey Smith. Alice Capsey replaces Heather Knight and it seems that there are changes in progress at the top of the striker – Amy Jones moved to the opening and the Emma lamb in the first drop.
We have nine games before the start of the World Cup, so it’s an excellent opportunity to start impatiently. »»
England wins the draw and choose to beat first
Good news! The rain has passed and the medal was launched. Nat Sciver-Brunt wins it and decides to have the first use of the counter. There are rumbles that England XI will include a few beginners while Charlotte Edwards seeks to shake the ODI team.
Rain for the moment – delayed launch
GAH! – These clouds drag and make a nuisance of themselves to Derby, we will be a little delay in the draw and the start time. More than we get it …
In the meantime – why not have read Emma John’s play on the Sikander Raza Globetrotting:
Preamble
James Wallace
Hello and welcome to the OBO of the first ODI between England and the Derby Antilles.
Charlotte Edwards and Nat Sciver-Brunt will be satisfied with the way in which the first days of their reign as a chief coach and captain of England opted for a 3-0 scanning of the Antilles in the T20is. However, there are gray clouds, and not only those riding in the tip district and looming on the county floor in Derby while we are talking.
Former Captain Heather Knight came out for the whole summer with an injury to the hamstrings she suffered during the last T20i in Chelmsford on Monday, a real shame for her personally striking card and England is weakened without her class and experience. This last match has also seen England slip into ancient and bad winter habits of dissatisfaction that has just taken place because a series of sockets has been plush.
Edwards has promised higher standards at all levels and therefore all eyes on the ground of England today, as well as their striker and their bowling alley of course – which was quite good.
The match begins at 1 p.m. and the draw and the teams are imminent. If you want to join us and offer reflections, theories, wisdom pearls or simply to tell me about your favorite condiment, press the electronic link to the left.
