Gotg Vol. 3 stars Pom Klemetieff would have always been attached to playing hunting in the DCU
Yesterday, the CO-PDG of DC Studios James Gunn revealed that the “Korea, Japan and Brazil projects” of the DCU were currently in development. Although he did not develop, it was generally supposed that the Korean project to which he refers is the Hunter Film we heard of for the first time in 2023.
At the time, reports indicated that the film was going forward with the South Korean filmmaker and screenwriter Jung Byung-Gil (Action boys, the bad guy, afterburn) in talks to write and direct, and a rumor Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 The star Pom Klemetieff could be in talks to play the head tours shortly after.
Nexus no news Now has shared new details on these international projects, and the site considers that Klemetieff – which has the Korean inheritance – is always attached to play Helena Bertinelli, who will be “represented as a half Korean and a Demi -Italian”.
If you only know her about Clog Films, Klemetieff may seem a strange choice to play hunting, but she knows many more dramatic and heavy roles (see the last one Mission: Impossible Films and Spike Lee Oldboy remake).
Huntress has already been played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead Birds of prey (and the fantastic emancipation of a Harley Quinn)But she never seemed likely to resume the role after the overhaul of the DCU.
It should be noted that the Hunter The film has never been officially announced, but Gunn is a big fan of Byung-Gil work, and shared the following with his Instagram account during a visit to Seoul while promoting Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

According to NPN: “The fundamental elements that make up Huntress will be present in the many other projects under development within the framework of the international slate of DC Studios. These elements include, an international framework, the written series and spoken in the respective language of this country and a distribution composed of actors of this respective country.”
Apparently, the plan is that the characters presented in the projects “appear in other projects that are spoken in English”.
We still do not know which characters on these other projects will focus, but they are considered to be television programs (Hunter Can prove to be the only functionality), and some will probably be animated.
