Emma Stone Proves Your Loose Fall Sweater’s Best Companion Is a Silk Mini Skirt
I have a dilemma and Emma Stone just gave me the solution.
Fall in Los Angeles is a tricky time for fashion lovers. It’s starting to get cool enough to dip our toes in sweater weather, but still too mild for the layers that really make a look pop. If you’re the type of girl who loves cashmere And a leather bomber jacket, you’re sort of stuck in a choice situation, which creates a slight styling mistake.
My current problem is that I have completely purged my wardrobe of any pants (jeans or otherwise) that wouldn’t make me look boxy when paired with almost any of my cozy fall sweaters, since I no longer own styles that don’t. And while I could easily have been looking for cigarette jeans to add to my collection, Emma Stone’s latest look gave me a better idea.
On October 25, Stone attended a Bugonia wearing an oversized oatmeal-colored crew-neck sweater and a matching silk mini skirt with a delicate lace hem, instantly creating a chic and comfortable ensemble that looks expensive but requires very little styling effort. Stone herself simply added a simple pearl necklace and a pair of white sneakers, proving that satin skirts and dresses are a lot less fussy than you might think.
