Now, Emily resumes her role as Sarah, opposite Alex Hassell as a deputy of Tory Rupert, in the second series of Rivaux which is halfway through filming and should fall at the end of next year.

‘Stick-on Muff’

It cannot emphasize enough how the casting takes place, which is partly due to their policy “No d *** s on set” – which means no bad behavior.

This rule was also essential when she and Alex had to film their naked tennis match in the field of the big majestic house of Rupert, which is a key scene of the original novel by Jilly Cooper.

He became synonymous with the show, and earlier this year, he was even nominated as one of Bafta’s TV moments of the year.

Rupert well endowed was supposed to have a member with whom he could “beat the breads”, and the creative team planned to give him an oversized prosthesis to wear.

“I had to have a Merkin, it’s called, and I had all these accessories for them.

“They were going to:” Oh no, it’s too blonde that one “, and it must have been a good bush from the 80s.

“But that actually helped because I really felt like I had these big fur panties, and I kept looking at the instructor:” Oh, do I look like? ” Oh my God!

“And see yourself naked on the camera as it is so bizarre and shocking, but once I saw it, I said to myself, oh, very good.

“I couldn’t put my clothes back.

“It was quite liberating.

“They were like,” Emily, can you put your clothes now? “”

But she wanted to emphasize that despite the sexual nature of scenes and nudity, she never felt uncomfortable because, as on other dramas, intimacy coordinators were on the set.

“ Sure environment ”

They were necessary on the rivals because there were many sex scenes involving many characters – which, of course, were all based on the sauce in Jilly’s books.

Emily said: “It’s very new profession, intimacy coordinators.

“Everyone always browses and works.

“But I am really proud of the rivals and it is such a massive representation of the distance in the industry in terms of management of people’s needs and emotions.

“It’s such a safe environment, and I’m not saying that because I’m on it.”

The shooting of the two series started in May and will continue until February, with Jilly Back, strongly involved in production.

The novelist even invited all the actors to a huge party – which means that Emily will be thrown from Edinburgh to the west Country immediately after her visit to the television festival.

Then she will go directly from the party to filming her next scenes to her competitors.

Emily said, “Yes, I’m going to Jilly Cooper tonight.

“My collection time is hideous tomorrow – they do this to me so that I am not too late!”

Jilly: My men don’t cry

Lady Jilly Cooper is more involved than ever in the second series of rivals – and she gave him the blessing to show the Dominic Treadwell -Collins, who was the boss of Easter, to create new characters who do not exist in her books.

The producers also hired two real Hollywood stars in the form of a mission: Impossible actress Hayley Atwell and the veteran of the showbiz Rupert Everett for the cast of the new season.

Hayley embodies Helen Gordon, former wife of Rupert Campbell-Black and mother of his two children, Marcus and Tabitha, while actor Rupert describes his current spouse Manse Gordon, who was his ex-Mari’s jumping coach.

Dame Jilly, 88, had a massive influence on the program as one of the executive producers – and the old -fashioned writer is anything but awake.

She cracked bottles of champagne for the crew before noon and put her buffer without heads in the series.

Dominic revealed: “She comes to the set and gives wonderful notes. She said to Alex (Hassell, who plays Rupert):” Come on, Bouillons! “”

Lee Mason, Disney +Executive Director, added: “One day, I was on the set and Jilly was there.

“She went down and she gave everyone a note, who said:” My men don’t cry – my men are macho. »»

The writer was surprised by a part of the series of the series – but changed her mind when she made where she came from.

Dominics remembers: “One day, she said to me:” Oh Dominic, it was a very sexy piece. And I said to myself: “Yes, Jilly, you wrote it!” “”

The creators of the show also said that the second series would be based on the atmosphere of the runners, Jilly’s novel taking place in the world of the polo shirt.

And its millions of readers could be in a much larger TV treat – as Dominic points out that Disney now has the rights of Jilly’s books.
