Elsie Hewitt‘s first foray into motherhood had a heartwarming start.
A few days after welcoming her first baby with Pete Davidson-a girl named Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson-Dec. On Dec. 12, the model shared an emotional reflection on becoming a parent as she marveled at watching her family grow.
“To all the moms out there,” she wrote in a post on her Instagram Stories on Dec. 20, “you too sit and look at your baby and cry about how much you love him and can’t believe he’s yours and your body made this perfect thing and you don’t even know how to handle how much in love you are so you just start crying.”
Elsie, 29, seems to be riding a wave of emotions since giving birth earlier this month. In fact, she called Scottie “our perfect angel girl” when sharing the news of the little one’s arrival on December 18.
“My best work yet,” she wrote in an Instagram post alongside several photos of her and Pete, 32, with their newborn. “I am absolutely overflowing with love, gratitude and disbelief.”
