Elon Musk Reacts After Clip Of Iconic Iron Man Scene Remastered By Grok Imagine 0.9 Goes Viral

Elon Musk is celebrating the latest update to his AI video creation space, the Grok Imagine platform. According to Mint, the businessman and entrepreneur recently unveiled version 0.9 of Grok Imagine with faster, smarter and more realistic AI video generation.

After the Grok Imagine 0.9 version was introduced to people, the social media space started exploding with reviews. Internet users of Elon Musk’s X were quick to share the new version’s ability to create very realistic videos.

While several people praised Grok Imagine 0.9’s hyper-realistic capabilities, a video generated by the new version caught the attention of Elon Musk after going viral. On Thursday, October 9, 2025, the 54-year-old Tesla CEO re-shared a short video made by user X @Prashant_1722 and wrote:

“Not bad for Grok Imagine version 0.9…”

Notably, the AI-generated video, which stunned the internet, recreated the iconic scene of the Iron Man movie. However, the clip remastered by Grok Imagine 0.9 featured an Elon Musk lookalike impersonating Tony Stark in the weapons demonstration scene from the 2008 film.

Sharing the video, user X @Prashant_1722 noted:

“Grok Imagine 0.9 makes filmmaking easier. I’ve reimagined that iconic Iron Man scene. YOU CAN’T WATCH ONCE. I’m blown away by the visual quality, motion generation and audio capabilities of xAI’s latest model. It’s an incredible model.”

Meanwhile, in the video, the Musk-like character is seen standing in a desert location and giving a speech. The video features missiles marked “Grok” targeting rivals including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DALL-E, Sora and Midjourney.

Mirroring Robert Downey Jr’s line, the AI-generated character offers:

“Is it better to be feared or respected? And I say, is that too much to ask for both? They say the best AI model is the one that ultimately succeeds. I say the best model is the one that succeeds at the first prompt. And with that, I humbly present to you our latest AI update… For your consideration, Grok Imagine 0.9.”

Elon Musk reportedly announced Grok Imagine, the video and image generation function of his Grok AI chatbot, in August. The tech billionaire has made the platform available on iOS and Android devices through the Grok app.

Grok Imagine would allow users to create AI-generated images and video clips using a text prompt or an uploaded image. After downloading the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, Grok allows users to instantly generate images or videos based on their description.

Notably, Grok is said to offer different video styles, including Normal, Fun, Custom, and Spicy modes. Users could generate videos with sound. Meanwhile, Grok Imagine’s official website reportedly stated that its service uses the powerful Aurora engine to produce realistic results.

According to International Business Times, the service would generate videos faster with the new model. It completes a standard video in just five seconds. While free users receive 10 daily credits, purchasing users can unlock advanced features.

For the uninitiated, the Grok Imagine update closely follows the launch of OpenAI’s Sora 2. Launched on September 30, Sora 2 is said to have intensified competition in the AI video creation space.
