May 15, 1950 – July 23, 2025

After having fought a battle for several years and heartbreaking against dementia, Ellen L. Bollerman, 75, died in peace after being surrounded by dear beings, finally meeting with her mother and father, she desperately wanted to be again.

Despite the life of Sharon Springs for more than 30 years and Richfield Springs for a few others, Ellen has always claimed her house as a Washington port on her beloved Long Island. She was born there in Charles (Mickey) and Grace (Bub) Bollerman. A beautiful coastal village, she has never forgotten the sounds and smells of water, and has returned to the port in her mind a large part of in recent years.

Ellen’s organizational skills served her well because she headed a private practice pediatrician office in Long Island, was the director of BJ’s Grocery & Cafe in Sharon Springs, led the mail hall of the Sterling Insurance Company in Cobleskill and became a member of the founding team of the Walmart Distribution Center # 1041 in Sharon Springs, To help organize the installation in Bentonville, Arkansas himself. She worked in the DC for 15 years before retiring to take care of her sick mother.

Ellen was an amateur nature photographer, an ancient lover and an incredible cook and baker, but it was as a nana for her two # 1, Victoria and Brady, whom she really shone. For her daughter and grandchildren, Ellen transmitted her love of everything that is nautical, Beatles and Billy Joel Music, great comfortable t-shirts, her creativity and her organizational skills, her appreciation for their family heritage and her notable stubbornness.

Ellen is survived by her daughter, Faithnn (Joe) Young by Richfield Springs, Victoria granddaughter of Middletown, CT, Brady grady of Richfield Springs, her brother Jeff (Suzie) Bollerman of Longmont, Co, and several nieces and nephews. She is recently preceded by her older brother, Charlie Bollerman, from Port Washington, NY.

There will be no funeral services, according to Ellen’s wish, but her immediate family will accompany her to “Port” one last time to rest next to his beloved Baie de Manhasset.
