CNN extends its press hours live, bringing Elex Michaelson to anchor a new Los Angeles program from 12 p.m. to 2 a.m..
Michaelson joins CNN de KTTV, La de Fox station, where it was largely acclaimed for its cover of devastating forest fires of this year. He had been with KTTV since 2017.

The new program will extend the live program of CNN at the end of the evening on the East Coast, while offering a new live show on the west coast. The chain has generally played reruns of its programming in great listening in the hours. The show will also be broadcast live on CNN International.
