El Paso rocked by 5.3 Magnitude earthquakes near Texas-New Mexico City

El Paso, Texas (KCBD) – El Paso felt the earthquake of an earthquake of amplitude of 5.3 Saturday evening, part of a swarm of earthquakes which rocked the region near the border of Texas -New Mexico.
The US Geological Survey indicates that the Quakes struck at 7:47 p.m. at around 35 miles south of Whites City, in New Mexico, almost halfway between Midland and El Paso. The earthquake occurred nearly four miles below the surface of the earth.
The region is not very populated, so few residents have been affected and no injury has been reported.
The “Temblor” was part of a swarm of 46 earthquakes for the most part in the region since the beginning of April, indicates the data from the USGS. The USGS says that there is a 65% of a high replica chance in a week.
