Ed Sheeran interprets the surprise concert at the BBC Music Festival in Liverpool

Yesterday, rumors had circulated that “a big name” would appear on stage at the BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend Festival in Liverpool.
However, the fans were surprised and delighted by the non-billed appearance of Ed Sheeran on stage on Saturday afternoon.
The successful artist made his fifth appearance at the festival, performing for the last time in 2022.
Sheeran’s decision to appear on the new music scene came because the BBC reported: “He said it had the best energy.”
However, this meant that he avoided the main scene of the event, and the smallest capacity of the crowd meant that many fans were disappointed not to be able to see one of the largest international stars in the United Kingdom occur.
Sheeran sold around 200 million records since the release of his first album in 2011 and won four Grammy Awards for his work, including the best solo performance for 2018 for 2018 Form of you. His work includes collaborations with the artists Taylor Swift, Stormzy and Justin Bieber. He is about to embark on a British and European tour.
The Big Weekend Festival is the biggest annual event of BBC Radio One, with more than 100,000 fans that are expected to attend this weekend in Liverpool to watch around 100 acts occur on four stages.
Sam Fender titled on Saturday evening, with Mumford & Sons expected on stage Sunday evening.
