Superman
This summer will mark the official launch of the DCU with Superman. Well, the official launch other than a animated series on the deadly monsters (Creature commandos). Live kick -off features the most emblematic hero in the world and the first indications seem to be that it is … quite good.
There were a few laps that tried to paint “troubled production” in Superman Last days, but he only recently filmed “microphones” in Atlanta, not real reshuffles. An additional composer was brought, David Fleming, to join John Murphy, but the two have music in the film and it is not as if one had erased the other.
A big sign that the film is solid, apart from Gunn, says it itself, is that the whole film finished is ready to be ready to leave next Friday, according to that vision. Obtaining this in five weeks before the release would be a sign of “studio satisfaction”.
In addition to that, there are unique tweets here and there on the disclosed tests. Here is the filmmaker Joe Russo (not this one) on Twitter, by retweeting the news of the production: “can confirm. I have a friend who saw him in April and he said he is delivering. You might even say that James Gunn’s Superman is… super good. ”
It always seemed likely that Gunn would land the plane when it comes to SupermanLike all we have to do is look at his other superhero projects and see that he simply did not miss with any of them so far, a great reason for which he has been exploited for the DCU position in the first place. Here is the range of its DC and Marvel projects:
- Galaxy goalkeepers – 92% criticism, 92% audience
- Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 – 85% criticism, 87% audience
- Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 – 82% of criticism, 94% audience
- The suicide team – 90% criticism, 82% audience
- Pacifier of season 1 – 93% criticism, 89% audience
Not a bad score in there, and with three films above 90%. Gunn Suicide team is equal as the second highest DCEU film with Shazam! And just below WONDER WOMAN 93%. The goal of all this is that it seems quite improbable Superman is bad, whether with 80%, 90% or more.
Marketing is starting to manage for the film, which is released on July 11, and a video has become viral this week by David Corenswet in a speaking costume and playing with children on the set after turning with them, attracting many comments of “This is the” real “superman” and others.
