When it came to designing a piece reflecting the opulence and charm of the soon-to-open Lake Como EDITION Hotel, DYNE designer Sarah Ysabel Narici had to look no further than the property’s picturesque setting.
Today, the resulting handcrafted piece is up for auction, to celebrate the latest gem in the EDITION Hotels portfolio, scheduled to open in March.
Dubbed “Verdant Reverie: The Gem of the Alps at The Lake Como EDITION,” the limited-edition necklace features an edgy 18k yellow gold chain encrusted with luminous speckled jade and finished with a round diamond at the clasp. Narici says the necklace’s shape was inspired by “the lapping waves and winding shoreline” of Lake Como, while the jade reflects a “verdant hue reminiscent of the waters of Como.”
The unique piece will be offered at Sotheby’s Fine Jewelry auction and is open for bidding until December 11. In addition to getting the necklace, the winning bidder will receive a two-night stay at Lake Como EDITION in one of the property’s penthouse suites, which will feature Calacatta Turquoise and Calacatta Gold Stone marble and restored French balconies overlooking the lake and Bellagio Hills. The winning bidder will also receive a private boat tour on the lake, a personalized detox treatment at the property’s “Longevity Spa” and dinner with three-star Michelin chef Mauro Colagreco at his new property restaurant, Cetino.
The set is expected to fetch between $15,000 and $25,000 at auction, with Sotheby’s noting that the lot “embodies the intersection of world-class craftsmanship and immersive luxury, providing the winning bidder with both an unprecedented experience and a sumptuous keepsake.”
EDITION Hotels, meanwhile, says its partnership with Sotheby’s and DYNE – whose pieces were recently worn by Rihanna at the 2025 CFDA Awards – furthers their “shared mission to blur the lines between luxury travel and collectible art”, adding that the necklace is “a bit like The Lake Como EDITION: a striking new addition destined for world-class acclaim”.

THE Lake Como EDITION
The Lake Como EDITION is currently in preview and is expected to officially open its doors in March 2026. The new property joins a long list of distinguished EDITION hotels around the world, including The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon, which was just named to the World’s 50 Best Hotels list.
“This collaboration reflects EDITION’s commitment to redefining modern luxury by thoughtfully integrating contemporary design into the world’s most historic landscapes,” said George Fleck, senior vice president and global brand leader of EDITION, in a statement. “In partnership with Sotheby’s and DYNE, we are proud to offer an experience that celebrates traditional craftsmanship with globally influential creativity, creating a moment that is both deeply rooted in the heritage of Lake Como and entirely unique to this partnership.”
