“Damn, it’s so hard to navigate,” Robert said. The New York Times in an interview published on November 23, adding that when it comes to romance, “everything you do will be on TikTok the next day.”
Yet the 21-year-old insisted the pressure has not changed who he fundamentally is.
“I never change what I say, what I do, who I am, wherever I am,” Robert explained, emphasizing that he has “no personality to hide behind.”
He added: “It’s just me, and I stay true to who I am.”
And when he needs a break, Robert knows he can always return to Australia, where he says he surfs most of the time.
“It’s my meditation,” he shared. “This is my church. It’s everything to me.”
