Dry male basketball schedule revealed

Florida male basketball emerged from the most difficult conference in recent history as national champions in 2025. On Wednesday, the Southeast Conference announced a league calendar in 2026 filled with brand games for the reigning champions.
The Gators at home weekends in particular will be filled with heavyweight matches, while the UF welcomes Saturday matches against Tennessee (January 10), Auburn (January 24), Alabama (January 31), Kentucky (February 14) and Arkansas (February 28). The mid -week matches in Dactech Arena at Stephen C. O’Connell Center include Georgia (January 6/7), LSU (January 20/21), South Carolina (February 17) and the state of Mississippi (March 3/4).
The Gators will open and close their league slate on the road, visiting the Missouri on January 3 to tip the dry action and the packaging on March 7 at Kentucky. UF has played Texas on the road (February 25) for the first time since 1997 and made its first trip to Oklahoma (January 13/14) since the Sooners joined the SEC. The Gators also go to Vanderbilt (January 17), in South Carolina (January 27/28), in Texas A&M (February 7), in Georgia (February 10/11) and Ole Miss (February 21).
In the current dry planning format, the Gators have a home series with Georgia and South Carolina each season with a house and a rotation house, which will be Kentucky in 2025-26. The remaining opponents are divided between the house and the absence.
The Florida non-conference slate includes neutral sites with Arizona and Uconn and a road competition in Duke in addition to welcoming Florida State in the annual rivalry. Gators will also participate in the Rady Children’s Invitational in San Diego on Thanksgiving, as well as at Orange Bowl Classic in Sunrise, Florida.
Assignments of dates in the middle of the week, play hours and television information will be announced on a later date.
