Driver penalty points after the Spanish GP of 2025

If there was never a race where the F1 penalty points became a subject of discussion, it was this one. Max Verstappen received 3 penalty points for what seemed to be an intentional contact with George Russell during the Spanish general practitioner.
These points remain with the driver for a period of 12 months. If a driver ends up accumulating 12 F1 penalty points, he is banished for a race. For the good of Max Verstappen, the Red Bull driver is strangely close to becoming the second driver to be prohibited for crossing the threshold.
