With around 18 days remaining before India begin their home campaign against South Africa, a report from Indian Express has confirmed that the youngster could play for Mumbai in their Group D match against Rajasthan.

Yashasvi Jaiswal did not feature in a single match in Australia’s ODIs
Yashasvi Jaiswal traveled to Australia for the three-match ODI series for India. He earned a place in the ODI squad; however, he was not named in the playing XI as veteran Rohit Sharma and captain Shubman Gill could not be replaced at the top.
Jaiswal was seen during India’s training sessions behind the nets and was seen in intense conversations with the Indian coaches and selectors. Despite everything, he has not been offered a place and he will not be doubtful for South Africa’s ODIs either.
