“Don’t they see this as horrible?”

Former WWE head writer Vince Russo recently spoke about Solo Sikoa and MFTs. The group was in action last week on SmackDown.

Over the past few weeks, MFTs have become a formidable force on the blue brand. Last Friday, Solo and his cohorts attacked Sami Zayn and Ilja Dragunov after their United States Championship match. The group also faced the Wyatt Sicks for the second week in a row.

During this week’s episode RAW LegionRusso recalled last week’s episode of SmackDown, where the MFTs took on The Wyatt Sicks. He noted that Solo Sikoa and four other members were confronted by Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, Eric Rowan and Nikki Cross, and that the MFT nevertheless retreated from any physical altercation. The veteran writer claimed the booking exposed the faction. He mentioned that WWE tried to portray them as tough guys, but they gave up fighting even when the odds were in their favor.

“We have both teams facing each other in the ring. We have five Samoans and three members of the Wyatt Sicks and a girl. So we have five Samoans and three guys and a girl. Guess who’s bowing out? The Samoans. They’re supposed to be bad, you know what and they’re falling behind. Five guys against three guys and a girl. That’s what I’m talking about. Don’t they see it? Don’t they see it as horrible ?”

In two weeks, the MFTs warned the entire WWE SmackDown roster. Solo and his associates eliminated everyone they laid eyes on.

It will be interesting to see how this group fares against the supernatural powers of the Wyatt Sicks.
