“Which one of us is the murderer…?” Maybe it really is was one of them? Peacock revealed a trailer for its new film remake The “suburbs”the 80s comedy classic starring Tom Hanks and Bruce Dern. This brand new series also called simply The “suburbs” is another weird choice to do the same thing as the Don’t tell mommy the babysitter died film last year. Located in the current suburb, The “suburbs” follows a young couple returning to the husband’s childhood home. Their world is turned upside down when new neighbors move in next door, bringing old secrets of the standoff to light, and new deadly threats shatter the illusion of their quiet little neighborhood. It’s the exceptional casting that will attract people: Kéké Palmer, Jack Whitehall, Julia Duffy, Paula Pell, Marc Proksch, Kapil Talwalkar; with guest stars including Haley Joel Osment, RJ Cyler, Justin Kirk, Kyrie McAlpineand many others. This is ready to stream on Peacock in early February if anyone wants to know. Or maybe go watch the original movie again – it’s fun.
