Everyone expects India to win – Yuvraj Singh
The national women’s female cricket team has never won a World Cup and will have the chance to end the drought of the title during the next ICC 2025 Women’s World Cup at home.
India was a finalist in 2005 and 2017, finished third in 2009, seventh in 2013 and fifth in 2022. They faced many sorrows over the years and would finally aim to get their hands on the trophy in 2025. The World Cup will start on September 30 and will end on November 2.
Meanwhile, Yuvraj urged fans to provide immense support for women in blue and motivate them to raise the cup.
“Everyone expects India to win. We should support the female team as much as we support the men’s team. The World Cup takes place in India. I urge all the fans to come and watch the matches and support our team. We want our girls to win,” Yuvraj told the media as quoted by NDTV Sports.
“Fans still want ovens and six, or counters. It’s the game. They come to watch. Fans want entertainment. They want to be entertained. There will be times when things are not going to be fine. And this is the moment when experience, self -confidence, must take over.
