Dolly Parton pays emotional tribute to fire her husband Carl Dean

Dolly Parton shared an emotional update on life after the death of her husband Carl Dean.

Country music legend was smothered by speaking of the loss, almost two months after Dean death at the age of 82. “Oh, you know what, I am very moving when people talk about it,” said Parton in an interview with Teday. “We were together 60 years old. I loved it since the age of 18. It’s a big fit, just trying to change models and habits. ”

She continued: “I’m going to do well, and I am very involved in my work and it is the best thing that could happen to me. But I will always miss, of course, and I still love her.”

The singer “I Will Always Love You” also mentioned her gratitude for the effusion of the support she received during her mourning time.

“I am so grateful. I had so many cards, letters, flowers from around the world,” she said. “I didn’t know Carl Dean was so famous.”

Parton also thought about a viral moment that she recently shared with a fan delighted with one of her Dollywood parades shortly after Dean’s death. “I became very emotional that day after the parade because there was so much love like that,” she said. “Right after losing Carl and I was so in a bottle of emotion, and I went up in the van and I have been just Booo hooing for a long time, feeling all this love and this emotion.”

In March, Parton published a sincere ballad entitled “If you had not been there”, where she thanks Dean for always standing next.

“You did me / more than I dared,” she sings. “And I wouldn’t be there / if you hadn’t been there.”
