Does the BCCI rest Jasprit Bumrah of IPL before the 5-game test series? The bowling bowling index has this to say

While fans and former cricket players continue to question Jasprit Bumrah for not having played the five test games in the Anderson-Tendulkar trophy, Bharat Arun proposed a solution to extend his career.

After each injury or break, the question is common for Jasprit Bumrah: Why didn’t he jump IPL? With Bumrah, who did not last five test games in England, playing only three tests and missing the series’s decanseur, he found no support among former cricket players or fans. Many blamed Bumrah for missing the fifth crucial test in England. Others questioned his commitment from India to play in IPL 2025 before the test series. The former Bowling coach of India, Bharat Arun, wants BCCI to intervene.

He thinks it would be important for some of the crucial quisors, such as Bumrah, to jump the IPL before a series of five -game tests. Australian quick quantities like Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood had done so in the past.

“This (IPL jump) would certainly help when you want to preserve the quisors. Bowling coach Bharat Arun, who gave Bumrah his beginnings in India, told Times of India.

Concern of workload management

Even before the start of the Anderson-Tendulkar trophy, the BCCI medical team informed the selectors that Jasprit Bumrah could only play three tests and not the full series of five games. The decision was made so that Bumrah does not undergo another back injury. Bumrah missed most of the Sydney test in the Border-Gavaskar trophy at the start of this year. He was absent for two months. However, another back injury could be threatened with a career. To prevent this, the BCCI medical team and the Bumrah surgeon advised him to reduce his workload to extend his career.

Consequently, the management of the India team was ready to leave without Bumrah. However, on dry land in England docile during the first four tests, Bumrah overturned long spells of 8-10 Overs.

While Bumrah managed to put two titles in three tests in three tests to bring his count at 14 counters, his commitment was questioned. By way of comparison, the captain of England Ben Stokes played 140 Overs and struck for 581 deliveries in the Anderson-Tnedulkar trophy. Stokes also played long spells of 10-12 Overs. Bumrah played a total of 119.4 Overs.

The BCCI also takes the necessary steps so that a player cannot play part of a series of tests. In the future, BCCI will only choose players who will be fully available. However, this could be a severe solution.

Will compensate the Jump IPL well

The former captain of India and chief selector Dilip Vengsarkar questioned the management of the workload during a series of tests. He said BCCI should have asked Mumbai Indians to rest Jasprit Bumrah or asked the player to miss the tournament. The reason is that Bumrah missed the ICC Champions trophy to play 12 games in IPL 2025.

“”Given the importance of the Test Ind Vs England Test series and its fragile back, Bumrah should have been informed by the BCCI, the selectors and the management of the team to miss IPL 2025. It was very important that we had a fully fit Bumrah and refreshed for such an emblematic series. If I was the chief selector of India, I would have convinced Mukesh Ambani and Bumrah that it was important for Bumrah to miss the IPL for the England series, or to play a smaller number of games in the IPL. I am sure they would have agreed to do it“Dilip Vengarkar said India time.

However, this decision would have prevented Bumrah from winning an Rs 16 of his IPL contract. It would also have been an injustice to the IPL franchise. But Bharat Arun wants the BCCI compensates Bumrah for missing the IPL for focusing on the test cricket. With few sets of five game tests today, Bumrah could return to IPL next season.

“It can be well paid for it. If he is well remunerated and informed by BCCI, because he is under contract: “We want you to work on this particular aspect”, I think it’s fairly fair “,” Bharat Arun said.
