What is cottage cheese?

For the average healthy person, Carly does not recommend more than 2,300 mg of sodium every day.

Choose the best cottage cheese

The choice of a brand with additional probiotics supports healthy digestion.

“Look for living and active probiotic cultures in the list of ingredients. It generally has parentheses that say what types of cultures have been added, like Lactobacillus. Not all brands have these living and active cultures,” said Carly.

“Whether low fat or full fat, cottage cheese can be part of a healthy diet – in moderation,” said Carly.
