Dodgers vs Angels: Dustin May is looking for his second 2025 victory

One of the remaining two names in the rotation of the opening day of the Dodgers, Dustin May will make his eighth beginning of the year Friday evening, approaching his 10 career starts, a brand obtained in 2020, the entirely healthy season of May.
No team other than Yankees really knows the level of money engaged in the injured list that Dodgers are currently making, but the angels are not foreign to the concept either. Currently, in the last place of the American League West, and on the way to another melancholy campaign, the angels have their two best paid players on the IL. Mike Trout faces knee problems for another season, and Anthony Rendon did not even get in 2025, sidelined since February after having undergone hip surgery.
Before the Dodger Stadium with a team era of more than 5.00, and an 84 OPS +, not much went well for the angels this season. Zach Neto and the old friend Tyler Anderson represent some of the rare money lining on the campaign of this team.
Almost a week after one of his most difficult battles in the big leagues, trying to go aside with Corbin Burnes and the DBacks, Dustin May will obtain a much easier task against one of the worst infractions in AL. May was really good against Arizona, but obviously not good enough in a day when the Dodger bats were silenced by Burnes.
Receiving three points combined with support in his last two departures, May lost these two games, bringing her record back to 1-3. May is a defeat of a record of .500 as a large fever, currently at 13-12.
If the offensive was not up to the recent outings in May, the last two projections surely paint a more promising table. The Dodgers scored 28 points combined, winning two games in a row against athletics, the last of these victories with a pair of circuits of Shohei Ohtani.
Speaking of Ohtani, although the size of the sample is rather small, the numbers of Ohtani compared to the angels must be highlighted. The triple MVP has a 0.854 SLG in four games against the angels, including a pair of circuits. This percentage of slugging is the highest for Ohtani against any Bigs team.
